Erste Screenshots von Gamelofts “GT Racing”

Gameloft, der Entwickler vieler bekannter und zeitvertreibender Applikationen (bsw. Avatar, Gang$tar oder Die Siedler), steckt nun in einem neuen Projekt – das bald erscheinende Spiel nennt sich “GT Racing”. Nun sind neue Screenshots und ein Gameplay Trailer veröffentlicht worden.

GT Racing kommt

In Paris wurde “GT Racing” im letzten Jahr präsentiert, TouchArcade war live dabei und konnte sich dem Spiel bereits ein wenig annähern. Dann ging Gameloft in die wohlverdienten Weihnachtsferien und erscheint nun mit einem großen TamTam, neuen Screenshots und einem neuen Gameplay Trailer (noch vom letzten Monat) vom bevorstehenden “GT Racing” Spiel in der neuen Dekade. TouchArcade meint, dass das Spiel “mehr als nur ein unfassbares Simulations-Rennspiel für das Jahr 2010 sei”.

Insgesamt soll es 108 Rennwagen von 28 Herstellern und über 11 Rennstrecken geben.
Das Spiel soll für iPhone 3GS Geräte bedeutend besser aussehen als für die Vorgängermodelle, da das Spiel skalierfähig ist und so entsprechend mehr bietet.

“Gameloft is putting a lot of effort in to providing a realistic racing experience, and in the demo I was able to get my hands on, my ’67 Shelby GT was wonderfully challenging to control around Leguna Seca. It was actually refreshing to play an iPhone racing game where you actually have to precisely control your car instead of just mashing down the gas and flying down the track.

Like all Gameloft games, they aim to make GT Racing as accessible as possible, with both brake assist and traction control that can be turned on for casual players, or disabled entirely for racing veterans. As you play through events in the game you earn money to buy upgrades for your cars, as you tune every aspect of your car by adding these aftermarket parts you will be given the opportunity to test track (just like Gran Turismo) before going back to competition races.“

Auf den ersten Blick scheint das neue Spiel “GT Racing” tatsächlich eins der größten Spiele für Gameloft im Jahr 2010 werden, obwohl wir natürlich nicht wissen, was Gameloft noch so plant. Das Releasedatum ist bisher noch nicht veröffentlicht worden.
